Bayerische Forschungsallianz GmbH (GERMANY)

Bavarian Research Alliance GmbH is an association promoting Bavaria as a centre of science and innovation within the European Research Area. BayFOR is financed by the Bavarian state government. It supports scientists and stakeholders from Bavaria for European research funds. The focus is directed at the current EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation “Horizon 2020”. As a partner organisation in the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), BayFOR supports SMEs in applying for EU research projects.

Our main activities:

  • We have adequate resources and expertise to support efforts competing for research funding
  • We provide a sound knowledge of regional, national and European research funding
  • We identify project partners in your thematic area of science and business
  • We support you from project initiation to completion
  • We assist you in project management issues

Key Personnel involved: Dr.-Ing. Bohyun Katharina Lee

She is a scientific officer at BayFOR, responsible for Nano Science and Technology. She had studied chemical engineering at Technical University in Munich and completed her PhD in separation process technology at Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen-Nuremberg. Since October 2010 she is working at BayFOR, supporting EU research projects as well as promoting science to the public.


Role in the project

As an associated partner BayFOR will provide training regarding European Research policies, grant writing and project management.
